Neal Rotenberg is a co-founder and the managing partner of RMSBG. Neal brings a vast range of expertise to RMSBG, spanning industries such as manufacturing, real estate, private equity funds, professional organizations, medical, life sciences, electrical contracting, publishing, advertising, and chemical production.
Neal's role includes directing the firm's tax and international services department. He has been extensively involved with foreign investment firms over the last twenty years, and has worked closely with these firms in structuring their investments in privately held and public companies in the U.S.
Professional Highlights:
- Tax consulting with medium sized manufacturing, service & distribution companies to minimize their overall tax burdens.
- Coordinating U.S. and foreign tax liabilities by considering differing tax rates, foreign tax credits, tax treaties and inter-company pricing issues.
- Resolving Internal Revenue Service international pricing audits for companies in industries ranging from steel manufacturing to investment banking.
- Representing large investment banking groups to resolve the financial and tax aspects of troubled entities.
A certified public accountant, Neal is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Neal holds a BS degree in Accounting from Syracuse University and a Masters in Taxation from Seton Hall University. Prior to co-founding RMSBG, Mr. Rotenberg was a senior tax manager with the accounting firm of Arthur Young & Company.
