RotenbergMeril is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and registered with the United States Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). The firm is a also a member of the AICPA Center for Audit Quality, the AICPA Employee Benefit Audit Quality Center, and the AICPA Private Companies Practice Section which all require member firms to have specified quality control policies and procedures in place as a requirement for membership. In addition, many of our partners and professional staff are members of professional associations and committees of the American Institute of CPA's, New York State Society of CPA's, New Jersey Society of CPA's, Construction Financial Management Association, California State Board of Accountancy, Financial Consulting Group, American Society of Appraisers, and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. RotenbergMeril has undergone rigorous peer review as administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This is a program dedicated to ensuring that certified public accounting firms have quality control systems in place over their accounting and auditing practices. The firm also performs its own annual internal inspections to maintain a high level of quality in our audit and accounting practice. Our public company audit practice is also inspected by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board on a periodic basis.
